This project required Core Developments not only to refit this building as a doctor’s surgery, but to restore the beautiful 1930’s building to its former glory. Core worked closely with the client's architect to transform this dilapidated federation style property into the stunning medical practice it is today. In order to recapture the intricate details of the original home Core recreated cornices and tiling, to fit with the original character of the house. Considerable effort went into removing previously fitted walls and extensions, to recapture its original beauty.
The new commercial purpose of the building, required disabled toilets and other functional features to be seamlessly incorporated with the character style.
