Transforming a standard project home into a personalised residence, redefining both its form and function. As our head builder and owner, Darren Johnston, put it: “Turning a basic house into a bespoke home tailored to its owners’ lifestyle.”

The rear of the property was opened and extended to create a flowing inside–outside living area, framed by custom steel bi-fold doors and leading to a new concrete pool with an underground Remco cover. At the garden’s edge, we built a natural stone-clad outdoor bathroom, bringing a sense of luxury and escape.

Inside, the master ensuite was expanded to include a Japanese bath, steam room, and completed with delicate Japanese finger tiles, while two additional bathrooms and a walk-in closet were fully renovated. Custom balustrades refreshed the staircase, and each child’s bedroom was finished with unique hand-painted feature walls. Polished plaster, Velux skylights, and new flooring – stone below, timber above – completed the interiors with elegance and light.

The exterior was equally considered, with a large pergola for climbing greenery, bespoke veggie boxes for the keen gardener, a custom automatic fence, and redefined rooflines with custom gutters.
